Lakeside Baptist Church is
an independent, Bible-believing, Baptist church. By that we
mean the following:
 Independent
We are not part of any denomination or conference.
Lakeside Baptist Church is an autonomous
body of baptized believers
in Jesus Christ. We do have a
“loose-knit” fellowship with thousands of other independent
Baptist churches worldwide.
Bible-believing
That is, we believe the
Bible is God’s Word and is our only authority for faith
and practice. We also believe in separating from unscriptural doctrine and movements.
Baptist
We are Baptist simply because we hold to
the historic biblical distinctives of Baptists.
We are not Protestants, as church history reveals a
perpetuity of New Testament doctrine outside the church
of Rome since the time of Christ.
