Pastor Dave Crichton, his wife Cindy, and their five children moved to Peoria in June of 2004.

Dave and Cindy met while attending Bible college in Tennessee.  Upon graduating in 1992, they were married and immediately began serving the Lord in full-time Christian ministry in Connecticut. There Dave faithfully served as a youth pastor then as an assistant pastor. Throughout their twelve year ministry, Dave and Cindy were involved in nearly every facet of the church and saw God bless in many wonderful ways.  The Lord then led the Crichtons to Arizona to plant Lakeside Baptist Church.  The first service was held on October 3, 2004.

Dave first became involved in church planting as a boy.  At the age of six, God led Dave's dad and family from the midwest to the northeast to plant an independent Baptist church, where his father has pastored for over 32 years.  Growing up in the ministry had a profound impact on Dave's life, for which he is grateful.

Starting with just one other family three years ago, Lakeside Baptist Church today has grown to over fifty families.  The Crichtons, and those who have joined with them, are excited about what the future holds knowing that Christ has promised to build His church. Currently, a permanent location for the church is being sought.
